The White House has reacted to the clip of Nancy Pelosi tearing up the State of the Union speech, accusing the House speaker of disrespecting the guests Trump invited to the speech.

CSPAN-2 interviewed a number of Senators and Congressmen after the speech. The person guy they interviewed was Tom Carper, the senior Senator from Delaware. Almost the first words out of his mouth were “It was a divisive speech.”
What the HELL was he watching? It was one of the most uplifting and unifying speeches of all time.
The CSPAN interviewer asked “What was divisive” and he got a deer-in-the-headlights frozen look. They he carped about how we are enjoying the Obama economy right now and Trump is taking credit for all of Obama’s great work. I could not believe my ears.
It sounds like The Guardian is taking their cue from Carper the carper.

That was one of the most inclusive, positive, inspiring speeches since the days of Reagan! Best speech Trump has delivered.

Totally agree. Although I’ll also point out that ideology is battling for our collective behavior. All those that embrace Islam must hate America. America stands in the face of Sharia Law. These things will never mix. Time is short.
