She doesn't represent Brooklyn. She represents part of Queens and part of the Bronx. Her district is 51% Hispanic. 22% white, 17% Asian and 9% black. More significantly, her district is 47% foreign born.
Unfortunately, she is my representative. Given my reputation, at first I thought it was amusing that my rep is a 29 yo bartender... at first.
