I dont’ fault him, it was great strategy. Not as smart as Amy being the first to realize that if she gave a speech, she’d get more national coverage than she had for her entire campaign, and more minutes of air time then she got in the debates.
He probably came in second to Sanders, but he clearly beat Biden, and probably beat Warren — and in that circumstance, I would have declared victory if I were him; he got more votes in this caucus than he did in any of his other elections.
