Meanwhile at the Republican Caucuses (I posted this earlier on the main thread):
Report from my Caucus. IT WAS PACKED...way more people than 2016! I would guess 2000 or so. We had Lara Trump, Weld & Walsh, plus our local IA Senate & House members.
Weld was politely received; Walsh was booed & people were yelling at him after he remarked that President Trump’s tweets are making Republicans the party of old, white men. Half of us in the audience were women...waving our “Women for Trump” Signs. It was FUN for a change:)
(More details): Walsh was basically booed off the stage...and it was WOMEN leading the heckling. Here we are with this sham “impeachment” & Rush Limbaugh’s sad news...no one was in the mood to put up with his crap! He exited to chants of “Four More Years!”
thanks for the report! very enlightening ... and who knew that going to a caucus could be fun! (the ones i went to in Colorado were always duller than dirt) ... yours sounds kind of like a mini-rally ...
