Lung cancer is not necessarily a death sentence. I have a friend who had stage 4 lung cancer and was a candidate for gene therapy and has been cancer free for 5 years. I hope and pray Rush will beat this. He has enough love headed his way and some of the strongest prayer warriors who will be lighting up the sky with prayers for him.
Maybe President Trump invites Rush to attend the State of the Union and sit next to Melania. What an honor it would be for Rush...please someone get word to the President to do this for our Rushbo!

Prognosis
It’s hard to talk about the prognosis of advanced lung cancer because we will be talking about statistics that were gathered before several of the preferred treatments for advanced lung cancer became available... That said, there are long-term survivors of advanced lung cancer, and that number is growing.

That;s good to hear. My boss’s mom had lung cancer many years ago; had the tumor removed and is still going strong. Lord guide Rush and his doctors and bless him.
All we can do is pray for him.
Rush is telling you what he needs to do. He says his greatest satisfaction personally is to continue to do the show.
Rush has been the single most important and influential voice for logic, common sense, good and reason on the US national scene for the past 30 years. Our country would be in a much worse place now but for him. He is a master communicator and educator who taught a generation economics and how to think. We need him with us as long as possible. Pray for this great man.
No Rush needs to do what he wants.

I don’t think Rush is the type of person who would do well sitting around. I think if he just stopped doing his show, it would kill him faster than the lung cancer.
