Agreed. If the Pubs don't win the House (assuming they hold the Senate), outside of judges, not much gets done. Some might be ok with that (do no more harm), but I believe the opportunity to do good, and especially to reduce harm, is much greater. As Trump said, he was not elected to do little things.
It may be that the President has to lay it on the line: "If you don't vote for Republican Reps. and Senators, then don't vote for me, because voting a split ticket ensures 4 more years of this B.S."
It'd be a risky strategy, in more ways than one.
