Feral hogs are such a huge problem in Texas even if you have MORE hunters in that state as you stated, it would not make much difference in culling the population. Putting in more poison traps might help but then the environmentalists would go nuts. 🙄

Huge problem.
We have built many traps. Still have 4 in place, have not been set in a while. You must check them daily. Hogs die quickly away from water and in the heat. They are smelly mess when dead.
The roads here are littered with their carcasses. Marker to damaged autos.
