Would be the same in the civilian world for a person terminated with cause.

*Security will escort you out. You can pick up your box of stuff at the front reception desk. IT/Admin removes you from the company network. Security adds you to the No Trespassing list.

It doesn’t matter what you’re terminated for, the minute your need to know goes away so does your clearance (but it can possibly be reinstated or transferred to another employer). Your employer is obligated to inform DIS of your termination.

I don’t think it’s just for cause.

Worked at a big IT place. Once I was no longer there I went back one time, had to be escorted.
