ASF is highly contagious among pigs and nearly 100 percent fatal but does not affect humans.

Famous last words. How much of this slipped past our inspectors?

It might not be a good idea to call in your symptoms. In China, they’re nailing up and barring people’s doors and windows. If they remember, someone may be back by in six months to take the bars off.

He should ask a bit more such as have your neighbors been to Asia and are they sick? And when was the last time you ate out at a Chinese restaurant or ordered from a restaurant with Chinese workers? And who does your wife’s nails?

Most water pipes run underground where it can be warmer there than on top in the winter but cooler in the summer.

Then there are the variables for private systems. How close is the drinking water well to the neighbors’ septic system. Is there a different water source for lawn and garden watering. How deep is the well and where does that water come from.

What about the gray water running out onto the lawn or garden? Will any food being garden grown become contaminated. Of course, germy hands picking it and tending a garden would contaminate the food. How germy is the dishwashing and clothes washing water?

Coronavirus: 438 Wuhan Travelers ‘Lost’ in The United Kingdom as 11 More Brits are Evacuated

The government of the United Kingdom is currently trying to track down 438 people who traveled to the UK from Wuhan before the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) quarantined the epicentre of the coronavirus outbreak.

As the death toll of the deadly coronavirus has climbed to over 300 victims within China, health officials in the United Kingdom are desperately trying to locate a third of the 1,561 people who traveled to Britain from the Chinese city of Wuhan.

At least 438 people who are still within the incubation period for the coronavirus, are currently unaccounted for in the UK, according to The Times.

I no germophobe but I’d rather be around dirty animals than clean people. I sanitize my hands getting into the car from the store, and wash them coming in from the car and wash them again after I’ve put away purchases and hope whatever germs on items die before I touch the mac ‘n cheese box to eat it.

This also means that public restrooms are probably laden with it at airports.

I will venture this is how the American tourist who had a 2hr layover in Wuhan got it.

And Asian run food places.

I stocked up a couple times this week at the grocery store and made sure to not use the line where the Asian cashier was. Fine, call the PC police. Sorry.

It is said you couldn’t get SARS from mosquitoes. Guess they’ll say the same about this.

That could spread fast in the squeeze that is NYC.

Subways, buses, Chinatown markets. A big, warm and wet petrie dish with 8 million relatively easy targets.

He’s of an age that his parents don’t know anything . . . we’re stocking up on essentials and taking precautions. He thinks it’s overblown, but if his employer tells him to do something he’ll listen and learn.
