NYPD cop Michael Valva allegedly taunted son Thomas Valva for being cold before died

Thomas was “face-planting” on the floor because he was hypothermic, Assistant District Attorney Laura Newcombe said, citing audio recordings taken from an extensive home-security system in the house.

In the recording, a child can be heard asking why Thomas cannot walk.

“Because he’s hypothermic,” Pollina replied, according to Newcombe. “When you wash with cold water and it’s freezing out you become hypothermic.”

Later, Pollina put the same question to Valva.

“Do you know why he’s falling?” Pollina asked Valva about Thomas, Newcombe said, citing recordings. "Because he’s cold. Boo f–king hoo,” Valva callously responded, according to the prosecutor.

When Pollina apparently walked into the garage and asked Valva what he was doing, Valva said: “I’m f–king suffocating him that’s what I’m doing,” prompting Pollina to say, “Take your hands off his mouth. There are people everywhere,” according to Newcombe.

He'll probably be put into isolation or “protective” custody at Attica. But if the got to Whitey Bulger *and* Jeffrey Epstein in a Federal lockup it shouldn't be difficult at all to get to him in a New York State lockup.

I can see no reason why the trial, conviction, appeals and execution should take to the end of the year.

This is a case where the Chinese do it right: death by organ harvesting so he'll do some good with his life.

Just read a NY Post article on this case telling of a court hearing some time ago in which the boy's mother tried to warn the judge..Judge Zimmerman...about the father but she was told to shut up.Then Zimmerman,after getting advice from the lawyer appointed to represent the boy,gave full custody to the father.

IMO Judge Zimmerman and the lawyer representing the boy should be doing some jail time!!!!

He had already gamed the child custody and social work systems multiple times. Why should he think this time would be different?

Ex-cop and a name like Valva — prison life will be interesting for him.

It has occurred to me that he was subjected to intense bullying for his name when he was a child; hence, became a "tough guy" cop; but the abuse cycle often repeats itself onto the victim's children without therapy. This is a textbook example, if my suspicions are correct.

I agree that childhood bullying needs to be extinguished; Ii warps personalities. I just don't agree that school bullying is only about being gay.
