In 1787, Adams published his three-volume work, A Defence of the Constitutions of Government of the United States of America. In the opening chapter of Volume III, he predicts, with eerie precision, the why and how of Bernie Sanders and his acolytes.

Again returning to Adams, he predicted this:
"The moment the idea is admitted into society, that property is not as sacred as the laws of God, and that there is not a force of law and public justice to protect it, anarchy and tyranny commence."
And he even provides a description as to how it would happen, which, again, is eerily similar to Sanderss proposed policies that have his flock so incredibly excited:
"Perhaps, at first, prejudice, habit, shame or fear, principle or religion, would restrain the poor from attacking the rich, and the idle from usurping on the industrious; but the time would not be long before courage and enterprise would come, and pretexts be invented by degrees, to countenance the majority in dividing all the property among them, or at least, in sharing it equally with its present possessors. Debts would be abolished first; taxes laid heavily on the rich, and not at all on the others; and at last a downright equal division of everything be demanded, and voted. What would be the consequence of this? The idle, the vicious, the intemperate would rush into the utmost extravagance of debauchery, sell and spend their share, and then demand a new division of those who purchased from them."

Socialism and Communism are nothing new, as John Adams demonstrates.
Agree! Even Reagan fought it in Hollywood and California, but sorry to say it has raised its ugly head ago.
Or is our President playing chess again. Remember he brought up socialism at the State of the Union message and all cameras went to Sanders. Was that the start of addressing the issue again to get rid of it!
And as God spoke to, thousands of years before Adams:
Exodus 20:17 “ You shall not covet your neighbors house. You shall not covet your neighbors wife, or his male or female servant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor.
Socialism and communism are not new. They are repackaged envy, jealousy, resentment, hate, covetousness, theft. Wrapped in a veneer of fairness, justice, blah, blah, blah.
... The moment the idea is admitted into society, that property is not as sacred as the laws of God, and that there is not a force of law and public justice to protect it, anarchy and tyranny commence...
Truer words were never spoken. Thanks for posting this.
That's why demonicRATS work so hard to not teach kids about The Constitution.
Our kids are all grown up and have families of their own now so the damage has been done regarding their education.
For those of you who have kids in the public non-education system, heed the words of an old man. Homeschool your kids. It will take some sacrifice but if you don't sacrifice something for them, they will be the sacrifice.

Best thing for POTUS is if bernie is the Democratic nomination......
Now if the founders had only had an amendment that prohibiting communism. Maybe it will be someday.
John Adams and the founders had a great understanding of human nature.
Initially, generally, you had to be a property owner in order to vote. From Wikipedia...
“The United States Constitution did not originally define who was eligible to vote, allowing each state to determine who was eligible. In the early history of the U.S., some states[which?] allowed only white male adult property owners to vote, while others[which?] either did not specify race, or specifically protected the rights of men of any race to vote.[10][11][12][13] Freed slaves could vote in four states.[14] Women were largely prohibited from voting, as were men without property. Women could vote in New Jersey until 1807 (provided they could meet the property requirement) and in some local jurisdictions in other northern states. Non-white Americans could also vote in these jurisdictions[which?], provided they could meet the property requirement.”
By far the greatest attack on personal property was the 16th amendment, (income tax) which allows the mob to decide how much of the fruits of your labor is allowed to be legally stolen from you.
bkmk.
Alexis De Tocqueville wrote in 1831”Democracy in America” that when the people can vote themselves the Government funds, that would be the end of Democracy. Look familiar?
A point I have heard from various conservative voices is that personal freedom and property freedom (to acquire and own) are inextricably linked.
You cannot have personal freedom without material freedom, and vice versa.
That makes a lot of sense to me.
That is why we must attempt to restore the Constitutional Republic over the next two-or-three generations... If possible...
President Reagan's prophesied "thousand years" is now upon us...
The Founder’s understood human nature & the importance of understanding that rights came from God, not man. When government becomes your god, it’s over.
