The American Postal Workers Union (APWU) endorsed Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) for the Democratic Party’s 2020 nomination for president on Thursday.
The financially troubled United States Postal Service (USPS) has an estimated 500,000 full-time employees, almost all of whom are members of a union. There are seven different unions that represent USPS employees.
The two largest unions are the AFL-CIO-affiliated National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC), which has 270,000 members (including both current and retired USPS employees), and the APWU, also AFL-CIO-affiliated, which represents 200,000 current and retired USPS employees. “APWU members belong to the Clerk, Maintenance, Motor Vehicle Service (MVS), or Support Services divisions,” according to the union’s website.
In June 2016, the NALC endorsed Hillary Clinton, one month before the Democratic National Convention. It has not yet endorsed a candidate for president in the 2020 campaign. The U.S. Postal Service lost $8.8 billion in fiscal 2019, more than doubling its losses from the previous year,” Government Executive reported in November.

ZACKLY..If I got mail once a week I would be fine. Fewer trips the recycling bin where most of my mail ends up.
How are you subsidizing Postal Workers?
So all the people who want a free lunch want to vote for a person who will give them a free lunch. Of course, intelligent people know there is no such thing as a free lunch.
In short, these people want to take your money through the coercive power of the federal government who has the power of the “gun” to enforce their coercive edicts.

As a member of this Union, I am convinced my dues do not go for political action. There is a political action committee fund that you can voluntarily donate to. Many members give a lot of money to this at their meetings. The hat is always passed, often in the form of 50/50 raffles. I have never given a dime to it.
If it were to be discovered that our dues were used for this, there would be hell to pay. It is currently against the law. This Union is highly regulated by the government. Believe me, Trump’s labor department would not hesitate to make hay out of such an egregious act.
I do not agree with the politics of this Union. I and many of its members are Trump supporters. Union leadership is running this Union into the ground with their love for communism. Instead, they should get on the trump train and work together with this administration... but that’s just my rank and file opinion.
That explains why they are so stupid as to not be able to deliver mail properly. We constantly get other people’s mail and they get ours, or we simply don’t get mail delivery ever day.

I worked for USPS for 35 years. APWU always endorsed the CommiecRAT.
Eliminate ALL government “worker” unions.
Fire them. Anti-Americans, traitors, all of them.

The starting wage is now minimum wage. Gone are the days when fed budgets mandated a couple billion from the USPS... Your post office is now competing for labor with your local landfill. And it has more job security lol.
