NZ Announces China Ban Amid Virus Fears

New Zealand has announced it will bar entry into the country from all foreign nationals arriving from mainland China due to the increasing threat from the coronavirus epidemic.

The ban is in effect from Monday and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade also raised its travel advice to New Zealanders for all of mainland China to "Do not travel", the highest level.

"We have been advised by health officials that while there are still a range of unknowns in the way the virus is being transmitted, we should take a precautionary approach," New Zealand's Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern said in a statement.

But what if they take connecting flights theough another country?

They worded it in a funny way. If you were German, using discounted tickets flying into Shanghai and onto Auckland....you’d be prevented from entering NZ. So it’s not just Chinese affected.

Once again, another country starting the ban at a future date.

NZ must pinky swear to self isolate. That would be after they wander around the airport sneezing on everyone and using the public restrooms. And after they catch a cab or bus home. Or if their home isn’t in the city, they’ll catch another bus or train or fly across country coughing on the current passengers. When they do get home, they’ll be using the family restroom and having mama do their laundry and they’ll need to get 15 things from the other rooms in the house and then there’s their dirty dishes and they’re bored so need a tv and remote and an xbox, and etc., etc., etc.
