Think about this for a minute. DemonRatz Fear half of their voters. Bernie is not that far off the bubble with the rest of the DNC, it's like the difference between poop and diarrhea, but the DNC knows it's a Bridge Too Far. This is a tacit admission that even half of THEIR OWN voters don't want Nanny State Cradle to Grave Socialism, Crushing Job Killing Regulations, and Elites choosing what shopping bags we use, what light bulbs are available to us, the size of our drinks and whether we can use straws to drink them. They don't want criminals coddled and set free, they don't want barbarian hordes flooding our borders, draining our coffers, and raping and killing our children.
The DNC knows that half of their voters are actually Republicans who just don't realize it and they are afraid Bernie will wake them to the fact. Watch for public and Press shaming and intimidation as half of DemonRat Voters become Racist Deplorables.

Stay home? Yes. Defect to Trump? In what universe? Trump is an anathema to everything they stand for.

Yesterday we read here that black trump approval was now at 42%
There was disagreement about what it meant but certainly must involve some defection

The larger the field the better for Trump. He feeds on all the idiots that come up against him the fresh material makes it fun.

I already posted this once, but I’m going to post it again.
My neighbors, a mother and son, are rabid liberals, but they both told me that Bernie is a socialist and that they would stay home if he’s the nominee.

That is exactly what will happen. The establishment Dems will change the rules back to allowing Super Delagates to vote in the first ballot thus denying Bernie the nomination AGAIN. He and his followers will rightly be so pissed off that he will go third party. Winning!!!!

Well said... I do agree, mostly... He was, clearly, not the pond-scum variety of communists that we are inundated with these days... That's what made him dangerous, IMHO then as now...
Today, he would be a much more appealing candidate than any of the communists the left is stuck with now...
If he had been elected in 72, it would have meant another 8-years of FDR and his agenda...

The country is much further along in its march toward the progressive ideal than they were in 1972. Bernie would pull 150+ EVs against Trump.
Yup, there are several states that I don't see even Trump managing to win. Even with a total meltdown on the Dem side. CA, MA, IL, HI, MD. Vermont may be the most Democrat state, but it's a tossup if Bernie isn't the nominee.

Virginia is also in play.
