Roemhild was set to appear before a judge Saturday morning, but her appearance was rescheduled for Monday at 10 a.m. after she reportedly refused to appear in court.
Roemhild grew up in Connecticut and has traveled around the world as a singer. She is “very astute, very intelligent" and her actions are “very uncharacteristic of her,” a family friend said.
No one was hurt from the chase and shooting. Trump was not at Mar-a-Lago at the time although he arrived hours later for the Super Bowl weekend.
Word that the opera singer now faces multiple charges for endangering law enforcement officers stunned people who know Roemhild.
“She’s a good girl. She’s incredibly talented," said Marilyn Malcarne, a Connecticut friend of Roemhild and her parents. “She has really studied her opera singing and she has an amazing voice.”
Malcarne said she would never expect such behavior from Roemhild. "She wouldn’t hurt a soul,” she said.
Malcarne said perhaps Roemhild was drinking. "This is so uncharacteristic of her.”

Presumably she’s not drinking now, in jail. How then to explain her refusal to appear before the judge? I say she’s a wack job, just by looking at her. I don’t care if she has studied opera and has a great voice. That has F all to do with what she is accused of. She’s damn lucky they didn’t ventilate her.
When they write an opera about Hillary she could sing the part.

And - how is it that someone can ‘refuse’ to go to court? I didn’t know it was the criminal’s choice.

Hmmm. Let’s see: She was a good girl, loved her momma. Would never hurt a fly. Was planning to go back to school high school and wanted to study Opera. Wa planning to marry her baby-daddy. Everyone in the neighborhood loved her, she was always willing to lend a hand to someone in need.
Is that about right?
Sounds like she panicked when the cop approached her. She was fine hurling insults at Trump, but things quickly got out of hand. Now she is scared. She should be. She racked up some impressive charges. I hope the judge throws the book at her to make an example of her to discourage future Bernie bros at the gate.
