I don’t think the mortality rate is as high as the panic-mongers are saying.

I hope you are correct, but the stats from the resolved cases, resolved by death, vs resolved by recovery are worrisome.

People die more often than they recover. 53-54% fatalities. Granted, this is a bit skewed by these being the sickest cases, but I worry that the big slug of sick people right behind them will have a similar outcome in time.

My biggest concern isn’t that this will be an ebola like 90% mortality crash the whole system.

My concern is that this will crash our ICU’s. And the economy as everyone feels like crap for a week/10 days and stays home from work (as they should, if you are sick, don’t infect your coworkers).
