Well, as an Attorney, I would say that the Honorable Senator Crus, who is a good lawyer, needs to remind himself that statements made by lawyers e.g. either prosecutorial or defense lawyers are not Evidence.. Further, statements made a judge are also not Evidence.
Finally, I would also note that opening and closing statements made by attorneys in Court are not evidence.
