I am in Vietnam. I was just in America to visit family and do my taxes.
When I left America, NOBODY was wearing masks. Nobody.
When I got to Chicago, I saw some Asians in the airport, with masks. A few.
When I got on the plane, there were some people with masks. Some.
When I got to Asia, I still saw a lot of people without masks, but a lot with.
On the last flight there were a lot of masks. More than half.
When I got here to Ho Chi Minh, EVERYBODY was wearing masks. At every desk. Everyone.
The taxi driver. Everyone.
Not sure what will happen here with regard to progression, but I was glad to make it here, before the borders possibly start being impacted.
Stay aware. People you might want to locate some masks, because they will become VERY difficult to find there in the US soon.
Maybe also, think of getting a pair of goggles.
Not trying to over-react, but just pay attention.
I bought a lot of protective gear and bleach when the Ebola thing was happening. I live in a remote location but am down in the San Fernando Valley for business. Be home tomorrow. Until I see piles of bodies burning I’m not going to panic.
Don’t forget to wash your hands - a lot.
Yeah if you did not order masks from Amazon by Sunday AM here in the states, you were not getting any. Found another unusual one in the paint department of a Lowes store. Has a R rating and carbon in it. There are places in China now where you have to wear a mask or you cannot enter. Good luck.
cheap goggles at dollar store...better than nothing.....also alcohol hand sanitizer....the same strength we use thru out the hospital.....
There is A LOT OF INFORMATION here about masks. If they work, which ones are reliable and which ones to avoid.
