The rumors floating are that Matt sold his site. It was a cash cow for him I’m sure, but more than that an influential platform so it’s possible he was given a massive over-valued offer to sell out to someone who wanted to own that influence. Maybe he’s grown tired of running it after 25 years and wants to do something else - or nothing at all, retire. There’s definitely been a noticeable shift in tone.
