Incredible if he said that...

Incredible if he said that...

To expand on it...

Schiff is saying that the delays in responding to subpoenas are numerous. First, a district court rules and then that ruling is appealed to a circuit court, and then that ruling goes to the Supreme Court.

Schiff says that those delays are a de facto obstruction because it allows the President to "do whatever he wants without consequences or oversight" while the appeals are working their way through the courts. Therefore, impeachment is their only remedy to stop the President, and the grounds for it are his use of the courts to block them.

Now, I'm sure that Schiff doesn't mind the YEARS it takes to pursue the district courts blocking Trump on immigration or building the wall. In those cases, working through the courts benefits the Democrats obstructing Trump, so that's okay.

He says there's no check on how the House conducts impeachment. It has absolutely authority and it doesn't matter how it reaches a decision to impeach. Then they call Trump a King because he wants adjudication in an article 3 court.

The irony could squash him like a bug if dropped on his head.
