I dunno. With Obamacare, his first written Opinion was to do the right thing and take down Obamacare. Then a short time passed and his statement, and ultimately his vote, mysteriously changed to pass Obamacare. If he were a true lib, his first Opinion would have been to pass Obamacare.
I think he’s compromised. My personal take on it has more to do with his sexual preference than kids’ adoptions. I could be wrong.

The speech and debate clause Article I Section 6: "... and for any Speech or Debate in either House, they shall not be questioned in any other Place."
During the discussion on whether going to the courts to exert executive privilege was obstruction, Philbin said what about having the courts rule on the speech and debate clause if Adam Schiff were called as a witness?
Philbin was suggesting that Adam Schiff would say (as I have, too) that the speech and debate clause would protect Schiff from having to answer for anything he said as a Congressman in the House. He would surely go to court to prevent being called as a witness in the Senate, using the speech and debate clause as his reason to block witness requests.

I don’t think she was disoriented. I think she knew exactly what she needed to say, but had to find the exact reference in her notes to be accurate. She was searching for a date and, God knows, if she had said “the 23rd” instead of “the 24th” they’d pig-pile on her all over the MSM.
Did Pam Bondi seem like she was having difficulty reading her notes? Her speech was slow/broken up.

Okay...y’all confirmed what I thought I heard...slow, broken up speaking, by Bondi.
She (and, ALL of our side!!) should have their ducks and notes in a row, AHEAD of time, to not make these kinds of appearances.
Yet Nadler earlier said that the House has absolute power over how they choose to impeach.

No, wasn’t just your TV. I don’t think she had the facts she wanted right at her fingertips and wanted to make darn sure she gave accurate info. Hence the slowed speech while she verified.
