We have very smart part of our home security system that does not upload anything to the internet BUT if we are home it lets us know when there is something on the property and also lets that something know it knows that it is there. Uses no band width or data. We call it Chase. Chase’s alarm tone can shake the windows. We can hear the alarm from any place in the house. Chase is always listening but will not upload his gathered information to the cloud. Chase has large teeth and is very protective of his domain.
Chase does like raw hamburger, pork, chicken and other foods.Chase also will chase cats and squirrels when he is outside patrolling his domain or fetching a tennis ball. We do not rely on Chase to stream music or record video. Seems to work just fine.
Do you live in a cabin alone in the woods? Do you have a cell phone, even flip phone or are you completely off grid? Do you go to the library to post on FR?
