San Francisco Mayor London Breed said Monday that the city is activating its emergency operations center to centralize a response to any local cases of the deadly outbreak of coronavirus.
The virus, with its epicenter in Wuhan, China, has so far sickened five people in the United States, including two in Southern California.
“San Francisco is ready to respond in order to ensure public safety,” said Breed at a midday news conference on the outbreak.
The mayor and city health officials reiterated there have been no confirmed cases in San Francisco, but Dr. Tomás Aragón of the public health department said that the city is “actively preparing for confirmed cases.”

All air travel to and from California needs to be grounded immediately. Also bus and car. Block all highways.
I’m sure they are prepared for the outbreak like they are prepared for the homeless.....and the crapping in the streets.

I’ve seen and read that at least 3 times. Someone who is feeling fine at the time can spread it.
The SF response to any Coronavirus outbreak will be to roll the suspected infected person(s) around on the sidewalk in human feces and urine, and then inject them with heroin. Then set them free to walk among the general population.
LA, once hearing of SF’s plan agrees to follow suit. Thinking it’s a great idea.

No kidding. Whoever comes up with a poop-based coronavirus vaccine will own SF!
Like any virus, you won't feel completely fine when you are infected enough to shed viruses. And if it is true that it is easy to spread, that means 100's of thousands have (after forty days) not just 1000's, and the lethality is 0.l03% instead of 3%. More like a bad strain of flu.
