As an increasing number of American college students embrace socialism, two young Venezuelans who witnessed the destruction of their country through Hugo Chavez's "revolution" are visiting U.S. campuses with a message of warning.
"I definitely see America committing a lot of the same mistakes Venezuela committed," said 25-year-old Andrés Guilarte.
He's been joined on the tour by Jorge Galicia, 24, reports the College Fix.
"No one else can know what happened in Venezuela but a Venezuelan, and we are experts on that," Galicia said.

I have been favorably impressed by the Venezuelans I’ve met over the years. They were all very outgoing, gregarious people. I feel terrible about what has happened to their country.
I thank them for making this effort. And no, our kids are not going to listen. They pretty much don’t listen to anyone.
Uh, oh! Look for these two to have a bunch of anonymous complaints made to every government agency that can get someone booted out of the country. They will also be put on the do not fly terrorist watch list once they are safely delivered to their political enemies.

Don’t cry for me Venezuela. You allowed it to be put in place. You have to pay the price to get rid of it.
I bet the woke crowd went back asleep when they heard this
Any help from the good old USA would be considered Yankee Imperialism. Danged if you do, Danged if you don’t.
You have to pay the price to get rid of it.
I knew a bunch at UF.
But but but this is democratic socialism. It is way different. /s
Look at the bright side.
Americans are overweight and the Venezuelan Diet almost guarantees losing 15 lbs in a year. /s
Think back to when you were college age (whether you went or not). Were you wiser then than now? I’m sure almost everyone would say they get wiser with ongoing life experience and everyday learning.
So why would anyone think that the political direction of any nation should be defined by college students?
I took a long time getting through college so I saw changes over more than a decade. The only really outrageously liberal sociology teacher was at one community college. The rest of the business and IT stuff and history were all pretty spot on. I graduated in 2012. This is in the Dallas area so your millage may very.
Just put Bernie in charge, hell get it right.
