YES we are getting an AMAZING education today these damn legislators are ignorant of this and they think they are SO SMART!!!
And yet it will mean nothing to them. Debate is dead in "the world's most deliberative body."
It may turn off viewers like us, who are paying attention, that Senators will ignore two centuries of precedence and meaning of the Constitution and vote the party line, but unless the Senators feel threatened in some way (like through polling), they will vote like this week never happened.
