You’re gonna need a score card but here goes. It’s been national and world news for months. Money grubbing, deaths a mile long, missing children, possible drugs, freaky cult activities, insane LDS visions and spirits taking over bodies, etc.

Summary - Lori Vallow is nutso and had an eyebrow raising raising close relationship with brother Alex (her supposed fixer/hit man). She’s been married 5 times.

Husband #3, Joseph Ryan (father of 17 year old Tylee), was found dead 19 months ago. He had been dead for a couple weeks so was badly decomposed so was declared dead of a heart attack. Lori got a nice insurance settlement from him even though they’d been divorced for years. They had years of court battles over Tylee. At one hearing, her brother Alex attacked him with a taser and broke his ribs and spent some time in jail over that.

Husband #4, Charles Vallow, was a wealthy insurance businessman. He and Lori adopted one of his relative’s son, JJ when he was little. JJ is now 7 and is autistic. Lori went nutso and said she was a translated being and the reincarnation of one of the LDS founder’s mother or someone. She said Charles had been taken over by some unknown being and lots of crazy woo-woo stuff. When he was on a business trip, she cleared out the business bank account and personal bank accounts. Stole his truck from the airport parking lot and a bunch of other belongings. Charles tried to get her mental help but no luck.

In July, Charles came to Lori’s house (rented in Charles’ name) to pick up JJ to take to breakfast and then to school but ends up being shot twice in the chest by Lori’s brother Alex. That whole self defense story was so full of bs. The police video of Lori being questioned shows her laughing and flirting with the cop just minutes after her husband was killed. Later, Lori is royally ticked he had taken her off his insurance.

End of August/first of Sept. Lori moves to Rexburg, Idaho supposedly with JJ and Tylee to be with her woo-woo “beyond the veil” (life vs. death) LDS author and lover, Chad Daybell.

Oct. 2 (?), Lori’s niece, Melani’s soon to be ex husband, Brandon, is shot at. The bullet hits the car’s door frame instead of him with two of their kids in the car as they’re pulling into his driveway. He says the car the shooter was in was Charles’ jeep. Rumor has it, the driver was... Alex. This jeep is the one Tylee would drive. At some point Alex trades his vehicle with Colby’s vehicle to keep authorities guessing. Colby is Lori’s oldest son.

A few days later, Lori’s soon to be husband #5, Chad’s wife Tammy is shot at by someone dressed in full paintball garb in their driveway. The gun/toy jammed. Don’t know if it was a real gun or a toy.

A few days after that, Tammy coughs and vomits in the middle of the night and is found on the floor the next morning by Chad Daybell.

Two weeks later, Chad and Lori are married.

At some point, Melani is caught twice trespassing and arrested at ex’s parents’ house. Once with a drone. Alex was her driver.

Last week of Nov. on Monday, the cops do a welfare check on JJ because the Vallow grandparents haven’t heard from him since a 30 second facetime in Aug. His therapy dog was sold by Lori and his ipad had disappeared. Lori and Chad tell the cops the kids are in AZ. The cops verified that was a lie so go back the next day to an empty townhouse. They had search warrants for Lori’s, Alex’s and Melani’s townhouses which just happen to have been rented within days of each other in the same complex and close to each other. Alex had also cleared out. A neighbor said they packed up a white pickup (probably Alex’s). JJ’s toys are left on Lori’s front stoop.

Later that same week (Thanksgiving week), Alex gets married in Vegas to another woo-woo “emotion code” healing woman who claims she can heal autism (wave a magnet 3 times at the person and cured!). The next day, Melani also gets married there.

Two weeks later, Tammy is exhumed. The very next day, Alex foams at the mouth and poos on himself and dies in 10 minutes. Both bodies were examined and tox tested. Results haven’t been made public.

Alex also had taken Lori’s dogs to the desert to die. He refinanced his parents’ home for the money. He was the only one home (years ago) when Melani’s mother died supposedly of diabetes and continued to use her credit cards. His and Lori’s parents supposedly are always about money and were in big time tax problems.
