“It is a tragedy. His 13 year old daughter died, as did others. Their lives were just as precious as his was.”
As were the unknown names of the THOUSANDS that also died that day.
THEY, couldn’t play NBA basketball.
How many actually KNEW Kobe Bryant?
Define “knew”.
Okay, watched him play basketball on TV. Saw him on ESPN, and yes read about him in the tabloid news about his adultery.
I understand he found Jesus and Jesus turned Kobe’s life around. GREAT! We should celebrate that he is likely in heaven right now. Hallelujah! (I’m serious)
But, I am so SICK of “celebrities” (in general) that I could PUKE!
Kobe is no hero. He was just a sinner like the rest of us. He deserves no more respect than his average Joe fans or the rest of us.
I’m sorry he died, I’m sorry for all the OTHER PEOPLE on the helicopter. I’m sorry for his family and the families of the others. I’m sorry for all the babies that were murdered on the same day. I’m sorry for all the people killed by drunk drivers that day and the victims families.
So, while we are all “sorry”, let’s keep it in perspective, shall we?
Found Jesus is a term usually associated with evangelicals. I read he became more serious about his Catholic faith. I did not read that he became an evangelical Christian. If you know more, please let me know. Thanks.
