Watched 45 minutes of my local news this morning, not a single word about impeachment. Prior to yesterday impeachment was story #1. I heard an ABC radio news report yesterday that went something like this, “president’s lawyers dispute, then 15 seconds of Schiffty BS”. The stooges are regular whirling dervishes of dem spin, if they mention it at all.
The press will cover the DEM demands as much as the contents of the president’s counsel’s presentation. On the contents, they will be mischaracterized (e.g., president’s team did not address any facts), “debunked” and criticized.
We need witnesses! Then questions to senators about whether they are for or against witnesses, then the implication that if they are not for witnesses, then they are covering up wrongdoing. Back to you in the studio.
The fraction of the population that sees the press as fair or non-partisan is dwindling. I watch to learn what the DEM party talking points and lame arguments are.
