Thats 3% mortality rate which is actually less than the average everyday flu. Whats with all the hype?
I think the avg mortality rate for regular flu is not 3%, but 0.1 %. Aand how easily spread by infected patients is another huge factor. Apples and oranges.
Average flu mortality is around 0.6% I believe.

And you if believe China would lock down 46+ million people during their highest holiday for 41 dead people, then I have some ocean front property in North Dakota you are going to love!
Actually the flu has an average mortality of less than one tenth of one percent.
Only time will tell if it’s hype; but you have to admit that the response from their government is cause for concern.
