not an pandemic expert, but do people normally just drop walking on street

That's a phenomenon I recall seeing only with people executed by a firing squad. If you're suffering from a respiratory infection, I imagine the process of "dropping" would be a bit more gradual. And if you'd reached that juncture, you probably wouldn't be on the streets.

I dunno- i had pneumonia once, thought it was just the bad flu- and got up and was going to go get groceries, but I only made it to the living room and collapsed- had i been just a tad stronger, I might have made it to car, or store- and then collapsed- Even in a weakened condition, I was going out that day to get food, get the mail etc— the collapse changed my plans though-
