RE: Perhaps this virus is God’s response to China’s persecution of the church
I’ve heard people speculate this, from what happened in 9/11 to the AIDS epidemic to the Australian Bushfires, etc.
All I have to say is this — if God wanted to punish a country because of this, then even those who believe in Him are also suffering because they ALSO live in these countries.
In Matthew Jesus tells us those that suffer calamity are no worse than those who do not. When the real judgement of God arrives there will be no doubt.
