I wouldn’t trust 1/2 of the officers I had to be armed and the rest of us not. Screw that. Everyone should be able to be armed and ready to go.My son was at Ft. Hood when Nidal Hassan went juramentado. When I asked him about arming soldiers at bases, his reply was basically that he'd only arm E5 through E7 NCOs because of "trust issues" with the bottom and the top.

That’s an excellent suggestion. And just tell everyone above E7 that they are too valuable to be risked in a gunfight. They’ll probably buy that.
