I believe this is where Adam Schiff was suppose to be presenting a COMPELLING argument. I’ve heard mind reading about DJT’s motives, where there maybe many different and competing motives...mistatements about fact witness testimony esp the Ambassador, and non fact witnesses lying about their expertise. As Alan Derschowitz has effectively written, with the exception of treaties and declarations of war, the president is in charge of foreign policy. SCOTUS is the only way to settle a dispute, otherwise it is a vote of no confidence which the framers did not want. Now, because of unfair play, similar to the Bush era nonsense but more serious, they dispute the election and are willing to violate due process for illegal redress.
