I don’t count George Washington when I say that Trump is the best.
GW, being the first president, having been the Commanding General of the Continental Army, having turned down a kingship, is in a class that will be nearly impossible to surpass.
GW’s greatness was assured before his Presidency. His walking away from power after winning the Revolution even drew the admiration of his former enemy George III.
It is amazing to me that our nation was blessed with so many great men at the time of its birth. There were maybe 2 1/2 million living here in 1776.
