It is kind of funny. McConnell was estimating two days, the DEMS whined and moaned, so Mitch in his wisdom, gave them what they asked for.......now they are in a pickle, they keep droning on and on, repeating themselves with endless monotony and will for the next two days.. They will have to choose to continue and risk infuriating the Senate OR rest and look like the fools they are.
I'd bet on "fools" but I'd have to give points.
So far as I can tell the original plan was 24 hours, 12 and 12, now it is 24 hours, 8, 8, 8. I imagine a few of the older Rep. senators did not want to be there for 12 hours a day. I wonder what the Reps. will find to talk about for 24 hours?
