Senate Impeachment Trial LIVE - day 2
If the threat to our national security was so grave, so perilous, so nation crumbling during those 55 days the Ukraine aid was held up...,why did not one media outlet or elected official report on it?
True, I also got a few chuckles at her inability to pronounce words.
That's why he is constantly smirking!
I wish someone would hijack the text crawl (chryon) on ALL networks and flash the suicide hot line phone number.
I’d love to see some parody political ads of her demanding we turn over “Texas.” Play them here in Dallas. They’d go over great.
I really think Trump has driven poor pencil-neck into his personal dark tunnel of paranoid hell, where he can fret .... inflamed and rattled over Trump's growing menacing monarchy.
I tuned out after twenty minutes. Theres only so much negativity people can take.
If no one is watching it, do you think the country wants to hear more of it?
After three days of this, even moderate Republican senators will have had enough and want to put an end to it.
Theres no real appetite for dragging this trial out. Watching paint dry is more interesting than having to endure senseless attacks upon our President.
No one cares about this impeachment trial. Its not gonna help the Democrats.
I dont think the White House council really cares what particular pieces of evidence or testimony the Democrats introduce - because the President isnt guilty of anything. Nothing they introduce can hurt him.
What they DO care about is the optics - their goal is total exoneration of the President and utter humiliation of the Democrats.
A quick dismissal would have been nice, but even if it drags on for a few weeks thats OK too, assuming the final decision is mostly partisan. If the vote is along party lines (53/47 or close to it) that exonerates the President because it exposes the entire impeachment as politically motivated.
I think the first day was a disaster for the Democrats because they appeared pushy and unprepared. Nobody will watch the Democrats opening arguments the rest of the week because they overstayed their welcome - wasting everyones time with pointless rules amendments.
People might tune in Saturday for the White House opening arguments out of curiosity.

Jay Sekulow in the hallway being interviewed............ not looking too cool.
That guy is a stiff.
Trump withheld the funds until the public upset, including by Republicans got so strong he decided to move. Also, the fiscal year deadline of Sept. 30 was looming. In fact a special vote in Congress was needed to enable the carryover of funds into the 2020 fiscal year so Ukraine would not loose millions of dollars in funding. After having been at FR for 15 years, it still surprises me how many FReepers are not at all upset by Russian behavior in recent years.
Yeah, I’m not impressed with the President’s team so far. Except for that brief time after Nadler’s attacks on the senate, they have been weak.
He needs to loosen up, he should play the new NRCC impeachment video for the Senate, that would be funny.
Of course, Pencil Neck is going nuts. For him and the rest of Deep State, this isn’t about politics.
It’s about survival.
And if Trump stays in office, and if he manages to make changes in both the bureaucracy and the electorate that will cause the change to continue even after Trump’s second term is over, Deep State will go the way of the dodo.
If the coup plotters are not dealt with in a manner that stops these ****s in their tracks, this will get far worse.
Chris Wallace actually stuck up for Mulroney’s get over it statement on Fox just now.
Is that a typo? Did you mean NRSC? Is this the video? Thanks. I hadnt seen this.
Well said, sir.
