We’re All Ready For This Impeachment Schiff Show To Be Over

While it may come as news to Schiff, 'most Americans' probably aren't watching this risible proceeding. But for those of us who are, we know for a fact Democratic actors haven't been 'impartial.'

Just when you thought Rep. Adam Schiff had reached maximum sleaze, word breaks he likely mischaracterized evidence related to President Donald Trump’s impeachment trial, achieving new heights of corruption for ol’ “schifty Schiff.”

Last week, Schiff, the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, sent a letter to Democratic House Judiciary Chairman Jerry Nadler of New York, summarizing evidence brought forth by Lev Parnas, a former associate of Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani. This evidence was related to Trump’s phone call with the Ukrainian president on which this impeachment sham is supposedly based.

Schiff claimed Parnas “continued to try to arrange a meeting with President Zelensky,” based on a text exchange between Giuliani and Parnas — and Schiff’s own bias or chicanery. The text was attached to Schiff’s letter but was redacted after “trying to get us mr Z.”

Politico reports, however, that “an unredacted version of the exchange shows that several days later, Parnas sent Giuliani a word document that appears to show notes from an interview with Mykola Zlochevsky, the founder of Burisma, followed by a text message to Giuliani that states: ‘mr Z answers my brother,’” suggesting Parnas was referring not to President Zelensky, but to the founder of the energy company on whose board an unqualified Hunter Biden sat for $50,000 a month.

Not looking great for Schiff, the lead impeachment manager.

This partisan impeachment charade hackery has dragged on far too long, since about Jan. 20, 2017. Only willfully ignorant zealots can’t see that the alleged sins of Donald Trump fall far short of high crimes and misdemeanors — and frankly far short of Obama’s abuse of power in implementing Obamacare, Hillary Clinton’s sending classified emails over a private server while secretary of state, or Joe Biden’s own Ukraine-related quid pro quo.

As if that were not enough, Democrats’ slimy tactics throughout this entire spectacle have “threatened our democracy” far more than any benign phone call Trump has made while occupying the Oval Office. For proof, read the transcript of the call. Not Schiff’s made-up nonsense impersonation. The real transcript.

From the very beginning, Schiff has been an incompetent buffoon at best and a conniving, contemptible snake at worst. Rewind to any point in Trump’s presidency, and you’ll find Schiff peddling some nonsensical garbage.

Schiff promulgated the suspect Christopher Steele dossier, spreading the Trump-Russian collusion conspiracy at every turn. In fact, Schiff claimed in his report, ironically titled “Correcting the Record—The Russia Investigation,” that the Justice Department “made only narrow use of information from Steele’s sources about [Trump campaign adviser Carter] Page’s specific activities in 2016.” The inspector general’s report, however, later revealed that Steele’s reporting “played a central and essential role in the FBI’s and [DOJ’s] decision to seek the FISA order,” used to spy on the Trump campaign.

Regarding the current attempts to undo the results of the 2016 election, Schiff hyperbolized the Trump-Zelensky transcript in his own theatrical version of the phone call during a congressional hearing. Later, his staff worked with the whistleblower prior to the filing of the official complaint, interactions Schiff then denied before he moved to prevent the whistleblower from testifying before the House Intelligence Committee.

Now as head impeachment manager, Schiff is calling for a “fair trial” in the Senate. “Right now, a great many, perhaps even most, Americans do not believe there will be a fair trial,” he said during his opening statement before the Senate Tuesday. “They don’t believe that the Senate will be impartial. They believe that the result is pre-cooked, the president will be acquitted.” This hogwash occurred just as news broke of another probable Schiff sleight in misrepresenting the Lev Parnas evidence.

While it may come as news to Schiff, “most Americans” probably aren’t watching this risible proceeding. But for those of us who are, we know for a fact Democratic actors haven’t been “impartial.” We just hope this Schiff show will be over soon.

This is the United States Senate, Mr Nadler. You’re not in charge here,” WH counsel Cipollone said.

SOURCE CITIZEN FREE PRESS WEB SITE-—VIDEO

White House Counsel Pat Cipollone blasted House impeachment manager Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-NY) on the floor of the Senate early Wednesday morning during the impeachment trial of President Donald Trump for making “false accusations” against the president and the Senate.

“The only one who should be embarrassed, Mr. Nadler, is you, for the way you addressed this body. This is the United States Senate. You’re not in charge here,” Cipollone said.

Nadler began by accusing the White House counsel of lying — a striking breach that would likely have been disciplined in any ordinary court of law. “They lie,” he claimed. “And lie, and lie, and lie,” he repeated.

Nadler went on to argue that if the Senate voted against the Democrats’ proposed amendment to a procedural resolution — which would only accelerate the decision on Bolton to an earlier stage of the trial — they would be “voting against the United States.”

When it was Cipollone’s turn to respond, he had clearly had enough.

Thank you, Mr. Chief Justice, members of the Senate. We came here today to address the false case brought to you by the House managers. … We’ve been respectful of the Senate. We’ve made our arguments to you. And you don’t deserve, and we don’t deserve, what just happened. Mr. Nadler came up here and made false allegations against our team. He made false allegations against all of you: he accused you of a ‘cover up.” He’s been making false allegations against the president.

“The only one who should be embarrassed, Mr. Nadler, is you, for the way you addressed this body. This is the United States Senate. You’re not in charge here.”

“Mr. Nadler, you owe an apology to the President of the United States and his family. You owe an apology to the Senate. But most of all, you owe an apology to the American people.”

Ready for the impeachment circus to be over, but only if they follow it with hearings on Ukraine.

Billions went missing in Ukraine, and no one seems interested in where they went. I’d like to see all of Schiff’s witnesses recalled to testify, but this time answering questions about how the money was disbursed and where it went from there. And why every investigation was shut down both from our side and from the other side.

Honest people should not dignify this political hack job by giving it serious attention. They should condemn and dismiss it immediately.

(But, of course, honest people already have.)

Was it Schiff who managed to get Nunes effectively rendered powerless for several months with a phony ethics charge?

I didn't watch the proceedings yesterday and planned to get filled in by watching Tucker Carlson, Hannity, Laura Ingraham, and Trish Regan in the evening. Unfortunately most of them kept running segments of the speechifying in the Senate which made them unwatchable.

I even switched to watching a soccer game for a while even though I have no great interest in soccer but it was less annoying.

I managed to not watch any of it, I spent my time watching Tuna Fishing - Life below zero, and right now Plane crash investigations.

When Impeachment is over I will go back to news TV. Good Luck. -Tom

THAT guy will go through withdrawal once his mug isn't in a camera any more.

If I see one more pic of him in front of a microphone, I'll be sick.

He seems to have (as they ALL do) some kind of crying need for total and continuous attention..... ALL attention, ALL the time, from EVERYONE!

There's a pathology going on there for sure-and NAN is certainly Poster Girl
