An exhausting euphemism for (the religion of) secular humanism. That's what flooded American baby boomers in the sixties, viz. the belief that the individual human becomes his own god. "It's your thing. Do what you want to do."
That's what happened to our Christian foundation. It was displaced by humanism. And like every other civilization that embraced it, it's failing, and destroying, the USA.
