"...The State Dept. has a lot of power..."

Too much, no doubt.

Perhaps Trump is the man with balls big enough to finally 'fundamentally transform' America by moving the Dept of State into a phone booth. In Kansas. And then establishing and focusing on the new Dept of States.

Essentially to perform the long forgotten function of the Senate. Obviously, not to illegally assume any official powers of the Senate. Just to be high-profile, Exec-branch/level diplomats. Guv-appointed, representing American states in an analogous way international diplomats represent nation states.

The State ambassadors would NOT be housed in DC and the occasional meetings would be rotated among the host states.

America First works. Because it shifts the focus of national activity correctly back to our nation.

Thus, the logical next phase is States / Americans First. To advocate/discuss a re-focus to happily diverse state level interests as opposed to the central planners' hateful progressive vision. What better way to kick start that process/conversation without needing a the terrible lot we have currently on the Hill to do anything.

You've laid out a very good plan to disrupt the corruption in the SD, think our very stable genius President would like to implement a plan similar to that. Now what do we we with the FBI and DOJ?
