Show up, show up with friends, but show up everywhere else. I think it sends quite a message to the public if suddenly pro 2nd Amendment activists in small groups are everywhere politely holding up signs, handing out literature, etc.
Realizing that the twenty people at the Starbucks or McDonalds, or the super market are friendly, reasonable, and sharing their political point of view for a short time is a very good way to reach the public.

The sight of hundreds of vehicles with demonstrators moving around the area and meeting and setting up quickly at stores, highway overpasses, major intersections, and other public locations reaches many more people.
Make the locations and times of the demonstrations known only at the last minute to small groups to prevent counter protestors, or at least to find the leaks to them.
Meet the public and share the pro 2nd amendment ideas and concepts with them in a better setting.

That's incorrect. Antifa's goal is to start fights and then get video of the results so that they can get the government to prosecute the other side with extreme vigor. That's why a couple of guys who get in a fist fight in New York with some Antifa thugs are facing years in prison on charges rarely brought against anyone, let alone a participant in a street fight. In that case the police didn't even require the Antifa participants in the fight to remove their masks, so they "could not be identified".
When some idiot does kill an Antifa ally they get prosecuted with extreme vigor. The idiot from Charlottesville is in prison for multiple life sentences for killing one person indirectly in a state where people who shoot and kill one or more people in a robbery face far less prison time and are back on the street before their hair is gray.
Antifa is the direct action branch of the Democrat party. Should somebody end up fighting with Antifa let it be a member of Virginia law enforcement. If there is a false flag event let them own it 100%.
While Antifa and the police are playing games downtown the real lobbying work can be done at other locations around the city and state by teams of pro freedom advocates. Maneuvering beats being trapped in a box any day.
