I agree, mostly. If Trump is black (or Bill Clinton is black), then “black” means nothing, and we can all just identify as “human,” and therefore “Blacks in America” aren’t a thing. Only “humans in America” (or another country) are a thing.

Why not just say good for the American people. The only reason race and skin color have to enter into it at all is to pit one against the other. Creating and recognizing differences is what diversity is about. Not supporting everyone. Trump doesn’t care who you are. If you are a citizen, you are supported.
That is closer to the bottom line.
