For Democrats and their allies in the media, the standard for evaluating every situation is no longer an objective view of the facts at hand. It is, “How can we aim the news of the day against President Trump?”
Sometimes this is amusing. CNN “journalists” turn themselves into experts on the proper way to feed koi. The media becomes more horrified at how the president delivers supplies to hurricane victims than at the devastation of the hurricane itself. And important questions become, did the White House misgender Conan, the hero combat dog?
It’s always unhinged, but sometimes it leads to Democrats choosing our enemies over America. It leads to Democrats blaming Iran’s killing of 176 innocent people on the United States. This type of Democrat delusion was on full display during last night’s debate. Each candidate backed the disastrous nuclear agreement, with Joe Biden claiming the deal that put Iran on a pathway to a nuclear weapon with military sites off-limits to inspectors, and gave hundreds of billions of dollars and pallets of cash to be used by Qassem Soleimani’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, “was working.” Bernie Sanders baselessly claimed the strike against Soleimani was “based on lies.” Does Bernie think Iran’s attack against Saudi oil fields, shooting down our drones, attempting to siege our embassy, and killing of Nawres Hamid, an American contractor, were “lies,” too?
Democrats continued to remain silent as protests against the authoritarian regime spreading throughout Iran. The only 2020 Democrats to say anything have been Biden, who attacked our president first, and Amy Klobuchar, who tweeted, “People should have the right to peacefully protest in any country, including Iran.” How brave.
