CNN debate moderator Abby Phillip asked Bernie Sanders in the Tuesday debate in Des Moines:
Not “did you say that,” but “why did you say that?”
Sanders denied it, then listed the many reasons the story makes no sense: He urged Warren herself to run in 2016, campaigned for a female candidate who won the popular vote by 3 million votes, and has been saying the opposite in public for decades. “There’s a video of me 30 years ago talking about how a woman could become president of the United States,” he said.

Many so-called Republicans knew that Trump couldn’t win but were not as crooked and villainous as the dems so they allowed him to run.
I did read the article, and the author appears to be angry only that his own Ox (Sanders) was gored.
If this had been a Democrat/Republican encounter in which the Republican had been gored, this author would have thought it was great.
If they ever had a smidgen of support for a real charlatan and fraud like Bernie Sanders, I don't have much hope for them figuring that out...
