Side bar item: Ya know folks...the four Democrat Senators that are still running for 2020 POTUS, simply have to recuse themselves from the Senate, and they will immediately be free to campaign all they want, wherever they want.
And......I have received 33 e-mails confirming what my friend noted to me relative to the IOWA Democrat Caucus. Yes, many IOWA Democrats will not be participating in the IOWA caucus, in much they same way they have not turned out in attending Democrat Campaign rallies. Some believe the Democrat Party will die politically at the conclusion of the IOWA caucus for voter lack of interest in their massively flawed candidates running for 2020 POTUS.....We shall see very soon!!!
Yeah but that’s a lose lose situation for the dem senators running for POTUS.
If they recuse, their base will be upset.
If they don’t recuse, they can’t campaign.
And Joe McCarthy said that’s why Pelosi delayed, was to take Sander’s off the campaign and give advantage to Biden.
The senate should keep the trial going through October...6 days a week in session...leaves only one day a week to campaign. They either get out of impeachment, or campaign via ads.

That just means the Dims with the best local support will draw up the state party platform and select their favorites for delegates and president. From that, expect surprising support for dark horses, such as Tulsi! and The gay caballero.
