Women do get lighter or no sentences for sexual abuse, especially of teenaged boys. They often get lighter sentences for other crimes. The vast majority of judges and a preponderance of jurors are men. A reasonable conclusion from this is that a critical percentage of men do not take criminal behavior seriously when the perp is a woman.
I’m not questioning that they may get lighter sentences, but jury verdicts must be unanimous; women (as judges and jurors) bear responsibility for this as well.
