A planned attack by extremists of any type is a serious affair and hopefully the evidence will clear the air about who these men were and what they were up to.
However, as one who has been around the internal security/extremists/rioters world for a long time, I’m puzzled by the claim that three men wanted to start a “race war” by their acts.
If they were going to attack Richmond blacks, that would be one thing but not connected to the lawful/peaceful planned rally.
If they were going to attack the police, like SDS did in Chicago, that is a reality scenario (same for the WTO riots in Seattle in 2000, planned and led by international and domestic communists including Prof. Walden Bello (teaches at a university in the Philippines, wrote for the Marxist/maoist weekly “The Guardian” (U.S. Marxist publication), and shows up at various “Socialist/Scholars Conferences” or “Socialism (add year)Conference”.
If these three planned to shoot up the pro-gun rights crowd, that could be a scenario for falsely blaming the Left for something they didn’t do (but would love to do if you re various “posts” on the internet).
