Marsha, why do you want to take away our fun.

I actually would be OK with them bowing out to go campaign. They will keep Joe confused, screw over their party, and make acquittal a foregone conclusion.

What did Pelousy promise her? A new house? A new yacht?

The corruption is so deep and stinky in DC, it is not measurable....

That’s not how it works. But Schiffhead needs to recuse himself, he is a witness and needs to testify as to what he knows about the whistlesucker and when he knew it and when the rule was changed to permit hearsay.

I’ve been saying this for weeks. Why is the president accused of targeting his opponent when these senators are voting in the impeachment trial?

Nope. No way. No how. You created this beast, you deal with the consequences.

True, but they won’t recuse themselves.

Yes, that would be an huge and obvious conflict of interest. Sanders, Warren and Biden should ALL recuse themselves.

The votes to call witnesses would all go for Trump.

That was Ben Wade, no? He ended up not recusing himself but voting not guilty. I hadn’t made the connection that he was President Pro Tempore before.

GOOD!!!

Pelosi should have been from the start. She has too much of a vested interest in getting rid of Trump and Pence.

It’s such a blindingly clear conflict of interest that I am surprised that nobody has brought it up before.

THERE is a problem with recusing, on either side.

It lowers the number of those present, so the 2/3 of those present becomes a smaller number, so less votes are needed to vote guilty to remove.

67% of 96 is 64.

The only reason Pervert Joe is running for President in 2020 is because he was tipped off that Trump knew of his corruption and wanted it exposed. Biden announced his candidacy on late April 25th, 2019. Trump's people had been investigating Biden and other corrupt Deep State criminals for over 2 years, and Biden wanted to insulate himself and his corrupt family.

The July phone call is where President Trump casually mentions Biden's corruption. It is almost a throw away line. But the Democrats went nuts, because so much of their money laundering, graft, and corruption was done with the aid of corrupt Ukraine thugs in both government and in the energy industry.

The entire Mockingbird news propaganda agents were given their narrative: "Trump Attempted to Smear a Political Opponent (Biden), And Therefore Must Be Impeached!"

The rationale being that anyone who runs as a Democrat is immune from any prosecution, because.....like.....Trump is bad.

There is no more rule of law in our nation. None. The FBI is corrupt. Wray is corrupt. The DOJ is corrupt, and staffed with 97% Democrats. Most of our judges are corrupt. Barr is inept, and refuses to carry out a swift and total prosecution of the D.C. criminal class.

To participate in this trial would be a failure of the oath they took to be an ‘impartial justice according to the Constitution and laws’.

By that standard, Blackburn and all the other 99 senators should recuse themselves.
