You’re right, of course, now I recall it was Martha (”Marcia” to her Good Kennedy friends) Coakley, who eschewed anything as pedestrian as shaking hands outside Fenway park in the snow, and got clobbered by Brown, who worked hard. Guess I conflated her with Warren’s effete, out-of-touch chilliness.
Damn.
