In fact, the tool U.S. Rep. Brian Mast, R-Fla., used to show the value of President Trump's decision to kill Iranian terror leader Qassem Soleimani was silence.

Mast, a retired U.S. Army bomb technician and Purple Heart recipient who lost his legs because of the likes of Soleimani, challenged Democrats who have complained that taking out Soleimani made the Middle East less stable.

The Business Insider reported he asked during a congressional hearing: "If you walk about this hallway … you're going to come to several beautiful walls that have the names of our fallen service members from the war on terror. And I would ask, can any of you provide me with one name on that wall that doesn't justify killing Soleimani?" He said he had two and a half minutes left of his time and would wait for a response. "Somebody provide me with a name on that wall that does not justify his killing."

Mast made a very good point and I’m glad he did but I’ll stop short of saying we need more like him. He is a gun controller and I’ll never agree with him on that.

If that's true, I will never understand how patriots like him don't support the right of individual self-defense. What goes wrong in such a mind? He and others just had proof how "carry" stopped the carnage in a church just days ago. It's been proven many times throughout the years.

There are countless examples from local/state LE and the FBI how a gun prevented the worse scenario. I read it almost every week right here.

I respect that Mast has served our Country and lost both legs in the process but there is something about this guy that should not be trusted. I don’t want to expand on the things about him that bother me but suffice to say, this issue alone is big enough for me.
