Schiff as both manager AND witness will be interesting.

There is no court in America that would allow an attorney to be a witness in any trial, at any level... most especially a criminal proceeding. This is already a big breach of all legal ethical norms.

With the limited exception of cases where attorney fees are allowed as damages. An attorney can testify as to the amount of his fees and the hours spent on the case. It's often done by affidavit.

This is a political trial. Normal legal rules don’t apply to an impeachment trial.

This isn’t a criminal trail. It’s a political trial and the Senate can make up any rules it wants re: prosecutor/ witness.
